Oche Bridgeford serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Palatka Housing Authority (PHA), bringing over 20 years of expertise in affordable housing, real estate, and community development. With a career rooted in addressing housing inequities and empowering underserved communities, Bridgeford is committed to creating innovative and sustainable solutions to expand housing opportunities and improve the quality of life for PHA residents.

Prior to joining PHA, Oche served as the Director of Communication & Compliance at the Harrisburg Housing Authority, where he oversaw regulatory compliance, public relations, and operational strategies to enhance transparency and efficiency. In addition to his extensive professional experience, Oche is the founder of The Weekender Festival, an event that merges entertainment and philanthropy to support housing and community development initiatives.

Oche's journey is deeply personal-having grown up in public housing, he understands firsthand the critical role stable housing plays in fostering opportunity, dignity, and community. This personal connection fuels his passion for integrating housing solutions with workforce development, economic mobility, and resident services.

Under his leadership, PHA is embarking on a new era of innovation, focusing on public-private partnerships, sustainable housing strategies, and resident empowerment. Oche's vision is to position PHA as a cornerstone of community transformation, ensuring housing is not just a foundation but a catalyst for growth and success.

Oche holds a Master of Real Estate from Georgetown University and has been nationally recognized for his contributions to housing equity and community revitalization. He frequently shares his insights through speaking engagements and forums, inspiring others with his commitment to addressing housing challenges with empathy and innovation.
